(Reuters) – Os preços do podem subir para mais de 300 dólares por barril se os Estados Unidos e a União Europeia proibirem as importações de petróleo da Rússia, disse o vice-primeiro-ministro Alexander Novak nesta segunda-feira.

“É absolutamente claro que uma rejeição do petróleo russo levaria a consequências catastróficas para o mercado global”, disse Novak em um comunicado em vídeo transmitido pela televisão estatal.

“O aumento nos preços seria imprevisível. Seria 300 dólares por barril, se não mais.”
